Echeverri

We are happy to announce the recent hiring of
Fernando Echeverri to our firm. Fernando is
experienced in commercial and civil litigation,
and will be providing reinforcement to this
practice area. He is a graduate of the Universidad
Iberoamericana Tijuana, where he is currently
enrolled in their Constitutional Law LLM Program.

ITC Pro Bono Comittee Met in Paris
On 30 September, 2009, the Working Group of the
ITC Pro Bono Comittee on International Contracts
met in Paris with a view to conclude the work
initiated in Geneva, Switzerland on 21-22 April
2009. (Click here for press release concerning this
previous collaboration). During said meeting, the
Working Group, headed by Jean-François Bourque
and Jean-Paul Vulliéty, reviewed standard-form
contracts for businesses involved in international
sales, distribution, and joint ventures, focusing on
the needs of small and medium sized enterprises
around the developing world. Partner Alejandro
Osuna was honored with an invitation to
participate at the Paris meeting, which was hosted
by the Paris Law Firm of Cohen Amir-Aslani Ornani
& Associés.
